Our first Social Distance worship service is up on YouTube! Like all firsts, it was a process in practicing patience and grace. Thanks to everyone who made this worship option possible. You can access the service at any time so if you are a creature of habit you might watch Sunday morning at our usual 9:15 worship time or hop over and participate in the service right now. Click here
As we continue to adapt to the changes taking place around us I want to invite you to an online worship service with our Bishop, Scott Jones. Bishop Jones will be hosting a service on Facebook live at 11:00 this Sunday morning. You can find the live service here https://www.facebook.com/txumc/
I encourage you to watch and worship live as it will give us an opportunity to be in fellowship together and also hear from the episcopal leader of our Conference in this time that we need more than ever to be united with other Methodists. If you are unable to join live the Conference will be posting the service on our Conference website after the livestream is finished. You can access the Conference website here www.txcumc.org
The United Methodist Denomination has been hard at work resourcing local churches like ours with options for setting up online worship services of our own. We have been looking into which option will work best for us as we try to capture as much of the Spirit and feel of our usual services as we can in this new format. By next week we should be up and running so stay tuned.
As we change the way we meet on Sundays for the time being, if you have a need or know anyone else who does, please let us know. Email the church at email@example.com or call the office at 936.825.3342.

We have made the decision to close our church campus in response to the recommendations from local, state, and national governments as well as consultation with our Conference, other local churches and schools. We will keep you posted on the latest developments.
