Our theme this year is: Rocky Railway “Jesus’ Power Pulls us Through” by Group Publishing. Just like everything in this season VBS will be different from years past. Thanks to the hard work of Patti Mitchell we have VBS kits available for our kids at the FUMC office for pick up during office hours 8:30-12:30 Monday to Friday. Each kit has all of the material needed for each day of VBS starting Sunday, July 12 thru July 16. We will not be meeting together for VBS but we will be doing a combination of online elements together. As we get closer to the start of VBS more details will be available for accessing the online resources.

On Saturday, June 13th there will be a prayer gathering beginning at 9:30 AM. The gathering will start at the Brule parking lot in Navasota (100 Brosig Street) and end at City Hall. Local pastors, first responders, city managers, and school officials will lead us in prayer at City Hall. I hope you can join us to pray for our community.
In response to so many hardships that we are facing as churches, a nation, and as individuals, the pastors of the Grimes County Ministerial Alliance will be gathering on Wednesday evening at 6:30 for an evening of prayer. I would like for you to join us on Facebook live as we pray over the continuing trauma from the tragic murder of George Floyd, COVID-19, rising unemployment, and so much more. Our live video will begin shortly after 6:30 as all of the pastors arrive.
